Our NHS Commitment
We are proud to be an established provider of NHS dental services to the local community, ensuring that clinically necessary treatment is accessible to all. From routine check-ups and essential preventative care to fillings and extractions, our skilled team is committed to maintaining your general oral health. We adhere strictly to the NHS treatment band guidelines and are happy to advise patients on current charges, as well as eligibility for free dental care, such as for children and expectant mothers.
Exams are free for all UK citizens. Further treatment is free for:
- everyone aged under 26
- pregnant women
- nursing mothers until their baby is 12 months old
- those with certificated exemption from payment because of income

Charges
Charges for NHS procedures for non-exempt patients are set by the government and do not vary from one practice to another. The costs of common treatments, as of 08/01/26, are:
- X-rays £7.60 each
- Enhanced preventative advice and treatment, formerly known as Scale & Polish £17.32
- Silver filling, from £14.00 to £39.24
- Crown £204.76
- Root Canal Treatment, from £127.12 to £217.80
Payment can be made by card, phone, cash or cheque. Patients are expected to pay as you go along. Patients are entitled to written treatment plans, please ask one of team if you wish one.
